Critical Services Technician - (Maintenance)

Join our team as a Critical Services Technician at Laboratorios Arsal, a Calox company!

We are looking for a profile that possesses and meets the following skills and requirements:

• 3 years of previous experience in critical services.
• Resident in the San Salvador metropolitan area.
• Extensive knowledge in industrial electricity, industrial air conditioning systems, plumbing, pumping systems, saturated steam generation and distribution systems, compressed air, pharmaceutical grade water, purified and distilled water.
• Ability to write technical reports.
• Diagnosis and maintenance of critical services.
• Handling of measurement equipment: Conductivity, Temperature, Pressure, Flow, and Relative Humidity.
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and process sensors.
• Ability to perform: Pump alignment, mechanical seal replacement, valve adjustments, replacement of critical components.
• Basic knowledge of industrial automation, PLC, and frequency inverters.
• Use of diagnostic tools: multimeter, clamp meter, tachometer, manometer, calipers, manual and electric tools.
• Reading and interpretation of technical manuals: documentation, mechanics, electrical, control schemes, and factory specifications.
• Maintenance management: recording work orders, equipment history, scheduling, and documentation according to GMP.
• Knowledge of typical pharmaceutical industry equipment: reverse osmosis, boiler, and compressed air compressors.
• Analytical capacity and critical fault troubleshooting under pressure.

To perform the following functions:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Diagnose and solve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation faults in the shortest time possible.
• Perform periodic inspections of equipment and identify deviations, wear, or possible failure risks.
• Ensure correct operation and adjustment of machinery during startups, format changes, and production operation.
• Execute installations, assembly, disassembly, and modifications of industrial equipment.
• Correctly document work orders, technical interventions, spare parts used, and activities performed in the maintenance system.
• Coordinate with the following areas: Production, Quality, and Engineering to meet technical requirements and minimize downtime.
• Propose and implement technical improvements aimed at increasing the efficiency, reliability, and useful life of the equipment.
• Verify the status and operation of instruments, sensors, and control systems associated with the machinery.
• Ensure the order, cleanliness, and conservation of tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Provide technical support during operational emergencies and attend to critical faults outside of regular hours when required.
• Participate in major maintenance, scheduled shutdowns, and continuous improvement projects of the production plant.
• Guarantee that the interventions performed comply with quality standards and regulations applicable to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Support basic technical training for operators on the proper use of equipment and good operating practices.
