Product Development Assistant Manager – Furniture

BASIC FUNCTION :

Responsible for collaborating with the US Merchandising teams and Asia suppliers to implement newly developed groups into first cuttings and hand off to production all introductions ensuring the new product meets La-Z-Boy standards for construction, functionality, matching signed finished standards, meets all safety tests, and meets all packaging standards. • Minimum of seven (7) years of supplier management experience and Furniture, Textile, Electrical and Upholstery Product Development.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations or related field.
• Furniture technical / Components knowledge of function, styling, finishing, and trend.
• Strong communications skills (written & verbal); fluent in English and Mandarin is a plus.
• Excellent visual color assessment capability.
