Your tasks
The mission of the Rossel Applications department is the supervision and management of all design, implementation, integration, and evolution tasks for the various application environments of Rossel. (digital, advertising, editorial content, marketing, finance, HR, customer support, subscription management, distribution sales...) Reporting to the AdRoom domain manager, you will lead the application projects within the scope and manage an agile squad of 4 to 6 developers. More precisely, your missions are as follows:
- Lead domain projects: You define requirements with the Rossel Conseil Médias teams and translate them into realistic solutions
- You manage the planning, workloads, and budget, arbitrate priorities, and alert on risks
- You lead project committees, represent the domain in steering committees, and manage publishers and service providers
- Develop and act as a technical referent: You contribute directly to developments, just like the developers, and take charge of complex or urgent subjects
- You participate in architecture choices with the lead dev, on both the back and front sides, and challenge the proposed solutions
- You utilize AI tools in development and delivery practices to improve the productivity, quality, and execution speed of the team
- You identify and experiment with relevant AI uses for the squad: development, testing, documentation, analysis, debugging, design, and automation of repetitive tasks
- You support the team in adopting these new uses and measure the gains obtained
- You review code, lead reviews, guarantee the quality of integrations, and manage technical debt
- Manage the squad on a daily basis: You lead the team, guarantee the holding of Scrum or Kanban rituals, and the proper distribution of workload
- You support skill development and manage service providers on a day-to-day basis
- You circulate information with the domain manager and alert on difficulties
Requirements
With higher education in computer science (Master's degree), you have at least 4 years of experience in development, including project management and supervision. You master PHP and Symfony, and have confirmed experience in front-end development with ReactJS, ideally Next.js. You possess solid skills in SQL, particularly on PostgreSQL and SQL Server, as well as a good mastery of REST APIs and integration flows between applications. You are comfortable with monolithic and microservices architectures, continuous integration environments, automated tests, and version management tools like Git. Accustomed to working in an agile environment, you master Scrum and Kanban practices. You know how to collaborate with various stakeholders, exchange with business teams, and present your work in steering committees. Your mastery of English allows you to evolve in a demanding technical environment. Curious about technological evolutions, you understand the current uses of generative artificial intelligence in IT professions.
