*Job Overview*

We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista* to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves preparing beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this dynamic role.

*Duties*

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following company standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate cash handling and transactions
• Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about products
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash, process payments accurately, and provide correct change using basic math skills
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and preparation
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods

*Qualifications*

• Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
• Ability to serve customers courteously and professionally at all times
