IT Infrastructure & Network Support Engineer

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure & Network Support Engineer  to maintain, support, and troubleshoot our Windows, network, cloud, virtualization, and security environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to provide reliable technical support in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain and support Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms , including virtual machine deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Provide technical support to clients through ticketing systems, email, phone, and remote support .

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues .

Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and group policies across  Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID .

Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, security patches, and vulnerability remediation.

Monitor the health and availability of cloud and on-premises servers, services, backup systems, and storage infrastructure .

Maintain accurate IT documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), configuration documentation, and end-user knowledge bases .

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot core network infrastructure, including routers, managed switches, firewalls, and wireless access points  from vendors such as Cisco, HPE, and Fortinet.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VLANs, VPNs, IP subnetting, and static/dynamic routing protocols ( BGP, OSPF, RIP).

Monitor network traffic, performance, availability, and uptime, identify potential bottlenecks and implement appropriate improvements and security controls.

Coordinate with ISPs, hardware manufacturers, software vendors, and technology service providers  to resolve technical issues and support procurement activities.

Administer and support Microsoft 365 services , including user and service configuration.

Monitor and maintain network and endpoint security , including firewall policies, endpoint protection, security patching, access controls, and related security measures.

Maintain a high level of attention to detail, accountability, and responsibility  when managing IT systems and infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls , including configuration, security policies, IPsec VPN tunnels, high availability (HA), SD-WAN, and security features.

Experience administering Windows Server  environments and supporting virtualization technologies, including virtual machine deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals , including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, and VPN technologies.

Experience configuring and troubleshooting static and dynamic routing protocols , including BGP, OSPF, and RIP.

Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networking equipment.

Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID , including user administration, permissions, group policies, and access controls.

Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and data protection solutions .

Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Batch and/or Python .

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, system administration, networking, and security concepts.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills .

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal teams, clients, vendors, and service providers.

Willingness to work flexible(full time) shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays , as required.

Participation in scheduled maintenance windows and after-hours support may be requiredies Key Skills & Technologies
