At our location in Bremen, we take care of the worldwide processing of sea freight. Our dedicated team handles all tasks in the areas of customs clearance, project logistics and intermodal transport. As the L.I.T. Group is also continuously evolving, we are looking for reinforcement for our team immediately, permanent and full-time.
As a Customer Service Clerk Sea Freight Import (m/f/d), you will take on the independent processing of international sea freight imports and will be the central contact person for customers, agents and service providers.
YOUR TASKS WITH US
- Independent processing and documentation of import orders
- Processing and coordination of customs clearance orders
- Booking of transport services with relevant carriers and service providers
- Monitoring of shipping and delivery dates
- Purchasing and controlling of transport services
- Creation and follow-up of offers in the import sector
- Execution of order billing
- Advising and supporting existing customers as well as supporting new customer acquisition
- Maintenance and expansion of relationships with international agents and business partners
- Processing of customs deferments
- Support in dangerous goods management as well as cooperation with the external dangerous goods officer
- Participation in the design and negotiation of conditions in coordination with the responsible specialist departments

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- A completed commercial vocational training, e.g. as Kaufmann/frau für Speditions- und Logistikdienstleistungen (m/f/d)
- Ideally, initial experience in the described area
- Good English skills (at least B2 level)
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications
- Reliable and efficient way of working to be able to react confidently even to short-term changes in daily business
- Team-oriented communication for close and smooth cooperation with customers, partners and internal interfaces
