L'Hermitage Hotel is currently seeking to fill a Full Time Server position. This is a great opportunity for the right individuals to be part of a small team dedicated to creating a unique experience in a small luxury boutique hotel. Compensation: wage starting at $18.00 per hour, Extended Health and Dental for full time employees. Free parking spot for full time employees. L'Orangerie Lounge is open from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm and serves breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, In Room Dining to small bites in the lounge throughout the day.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Flexibility & patience.
- Must know standard cash-handling procedures.
- Completes all restocking and cleaning duties.
- Maintains cleanliness standards in Lounge, wait station and kitchen service area.
- Performs room service.
- Greets, takes and serves food and drink orders from customers; accommodating special needs/requests.
Attitudes: - Positive and inspirational to others. - Open to feedback and ideas. - Collaborative and team oriented. - Empathetic to guest needs, and passionate about delivering outstanding service.
Educational/Developmental: - Tourism/hospitality post-secondary education or training preferred but not mandatory
- Serving It Right certificate
Experience - Luxury hotel experience is an asset, but is not required
- Diversity of experience within the industry, or comparable experience.
