Systems & Equipment Innovation Architect (M/F)

The position:
Within the Engineering Department, you will operate at the heart of architecture activities and the preparation of future generations of defense systems. In a highly cross-functional role, you will work on equipment with a strong electronic and mechatronic component and contribute to defining the technological directions that will structure the products of tomorrow. You will work in permanent interaction with system architects, electronic engineering teams, business experts, technical managers, programs, and international partners. Your main missions:
- Define architecture directions and technological roadmaps to strengthen the modularity, reusability, and performance of future systems
- Lead and coordinate innovation work, upstream studies, and R&T activities in connection with various business units and partners
- Lead expert communities and contribute to knowledge capitalization, method improvement, and the evolution of technical standards
- Foster the emergence of new engineering tools and approaches within the department
- Coordinate technical contributions to tender responses and ensure the consistency of proposals
- Represent the entity within multidisciplinary and international working groups
- Contribute to the dissemination of know-how and skill development through training actions and technical communication
Profile sought:
A graduate of an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 10 years of experience in the development of complex systems or equipment with a strong electronic component or embedded systems.
- Electronic background indispensable (without necessarily being a pure electronic engineer) - Global vision of the product development cycle and solid technical culture - Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and to unite many stakeholders around common objectives - Aptitude to work in a prospective mode and to lead working groups - Analytical skills, synthesis skills, and proven technical leadership - Good level of English required (international context) - Experience in system architecture, upstream studies, tender responses, or leading technical communities will be appreciated - Preferred sectors: aero-defense, high-end/sports automotive, medical
