Key Account Manager
- Key Account Ownership & Relationship Management:
•Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, both local and global programs. •Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders at all levels. •Understand each account's business objectives, packaging needs, and growth plans. •Conduct regular account review meetings / business reviews with key clients. •Handle customer escalations, complaints, and delivery-delay issues, and drive timely resolution.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
•Act as the main contact window between customers and internal teams for all account matters. •Coordinate with the Sourcing & Development team on RFQs and cost estimation. •Coordinate with the Graphic team on die-line, artwork, and structural design requirements. •Coordinate with the QA team on sample approval, press-proof inspection, and first-production checks. •Coordinate with CS/Admin teams on order entry, buy-sell pricing records, and delivery scheduling. •Escort and support customers during factory/production inspection visits when required.
- Supplier Sourcing & Development:
•Work directly with new and existing suppliers to source materials and capabilities for key account requirements. •Support sample and product development together with suppliers to meet customer specifications. •Evaluate and help drive supplier performance improvements in collaboration with the Sourcing & Development team.
- Quotation, Pricing & Account Growth:
•Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, and contract terms with customers. •Consult with the Business Development Manager for final buy-sell pricing and approval. •Account management is the initial focus of this role; identifying and pursuing new business opportunities is a growth step for later, once established in the account portfolio. •Present the company profile, capabilities, and new product/packaging innovations to key accounts.
- Project Tracking & Reporting:
•Record and update account and project details in company systems (e.g. Monday.com, SPS, ERP/JDE). •Track order status and delivery timelines to ensure customer requirements are consistently met. •Update the Business Development Manager on account progress on a weekly basis. •Prepare monthly summary reports of account status and sales performance (local & global programs).
- Continuous Improvement:
•Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service levels, and propose action plans to management. •Stay current on market trends, competitor activity, and packaging innovations relevant to key accounts
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field At least 5 Years’ experience in Key Account Management or Customer Relationship Management, Packaging/manufacturing industry and supplier sourcing experience is a strong plus. Able to communicate, including writing, efficiently in English (mandatory) Chinese language skills a strong plus Familiar with ERP / project-tracking systems (e.g., Monday.com, JDE, SPS) preferred Independent, proactive & detail-oriented; able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
