Responsibilities
- Coordinate structural steel projects from fabrication to site installation.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Coordinate drawings, submissions, material orders, deliveries and project documentation.
- Monitor project schedules, fabrication progress and site activities.
- Follow up on structural steel fabrication, delivery and erection works.
- Assist with inspections, measurements, testing and rectification works.
- Track project issues, outstanding items and action points.
- Assist the Project Manager with reports, meetings, claims and variations.
- Support project handover, defects rectification and close-out.
Requirements
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in structural steel or construction projects preferred.
- Basic knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection and installation.
- Able to read and understand construction and structural drawings.
- Good coordination, communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with project and site teams.
- Willing to work on construction sites when required.
