Advisor to the IFRS Financial Reporting and Accounting Methodology Department

The Finance Directorate of Kyivstar is looking for a colleague for the position of “Advisor to the IFRS Financial Reporting and Accounting Methodology Department”

General purpose of the position: Preparation of financial statements and accounting methodology according to IFRS/US GAAP/UA GAAP standards

Functional responsibilities: Development of accounting methodology according to international standards, implementation, and monitoring of compliance with new IFRS standards; Undergoing quarterly and annual financial statement audits by external auditors, as well as undergoing internal audits; Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with international financial reporting standards; Monthly closing of the financial period, preparation of reports, processing of requests;

Our ideal candidate has: Higher economic education Work experience: At least 3 years in international auditing companies. Desirable: more than 3 years. Knowledge of Ukrainian accounting and a high level of proficiency in IFRS standards. Desirable: knowledge of international accounting standards. PC: knowledge of Excel, Word. Desirable: MS Power Point. CPA or ACCA certificate (completed or final level). Language proficiency: English - intermediate.
