Role Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing or service processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure they are maintained within specified limits.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies for process validation and certification.
- Investigate product or process non-conformities and perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address defects or process inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with teams to develop solutions and prevent recurrence of quality issues
- Collect and analyze quality data from various stages of the process.
- Prepare reports on quality performance metrics, including defect rates, process capability (CP, CPK), and trends.
- Present findings and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
- Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce variability, waste, and inefficiencies.
- Lead or participate in quality improvement projects to enhance process stability and product consistency.
- Provide training to production and engineering teams on quality standards, procedures, and problem-solving techniques.
- Develop and promote quality awareness across the organization.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or process engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or production environments
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ISO 9001 Auditor) is a plus
- Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective / Preventive Action (CAPA) systems
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 or equivalent
