Key Responsibilities
• Manage and execute import-export customs formalities for Automotive & Auto-parts products accurately and on time. • Prepare, verify, and apply for Certificates of Origin (various Forms such as Form D, Form E, Form AK), including calculating costs according to Rules of Origin (RVC / CTC). • Manage the company's tax privileges, such as BOI, Free Zone, Bonded Warehouse, or duty drawbacks under Section 29. • Verify and manage the declaration of "Royalty" and Customs Valuation of automotive parts accurately in accordance with the law to prevent retroactive tax risks. • Coordinate, negotiate, and resolve on-site issues with officers from the Customs Department, Department of International Trade, and other relevant government agencies. • Supervise the work of Forwarder/Shipping and verify the accuracy of customs entries.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. • At least 3-5 years of experience in Import-Export within the automotive or auto-parts industry. • Deep understanding of customs laws, automotive tariff classifications, and price structures (Royalty). • Direct experience in managing BOI or Free Zone systems and preparing tax Forms. • Negotiation skills and good English communication skills (for coordination and reviewing international contract documents). • High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and ability to travel for on-site duties (Customs checkpoints/ports). • Possession of a Customs Broker License will be given special consideration.
