Your tasks

What is this challenge about

  • Create, run and maintain automated tests using existing automation frameworks, analyzing results and following up on defects.
  • Plan and execute backend and API tests with Postman or similar tools.
  • Design functional and component tests, along with the respective test plans, based on business requirements.
  • Prepare and validate test data directly in databases such as IBM DB2, Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Run manual and functional tests when needed, documenting and tracking bugs through to resolution.
  • Retest defects across certification and acceptance environments, and support validation of production incidents.
  • Work with other teams to diagnose problems and continuously improve QA processes.

Requirements

What we are looking for

  • 1 to 7 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
  • Experience with test automation and backend testing
  • Solid SQL knowledge (IBM DB2, Oracle or SQL Server)
  • Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI or similar tools
  • Familiarity with QA tools such as Jira and Xray
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Analytical thinking, critical sense and strong attention to detail
  • Curiosity and a genuine drive to learn, explore new tools and go deep into the business
  • Proactivity, ownership and strong team spirit
  • Nice to have:*development or programming experience, analysis of XML messages and application logs, and ISTQB** certification
