KTH Innovation is looking for student employees who want to work in the middle of KTH's startup environment!

Tasks

KTH Innovation is ranked as one of Europe's leading startup hubs. Every year, we create opportunities for hundreds of students and researchers to test new ideas and found promising startups. Among our alumni are companies such as Blykalla, Airmee, TERASi, SuperAnnotate, and Flox, and founders who later started companies such as Lovable and Neko Health.

For you who are interested in the startup world, this is an opportunity to build a strong network of founders, investors, students, researchers, and industry.

An important part of our work is creating meetings and opportunities for KTH's startups, students, and researchers. We do this, among other things, through events, workshops, and other activities in our premises at Teknikringen 1. That is where you come in.

Your mission

As a student employee at KTH Innovation, you will become part of a team of a total of five students.

Right now, we are looking for three people with different strengths and perspectives that complement each other. Together, you will create activities and events for KTH's startupcommunity, both for those who are curious about innovation and for those who are betting big. It can be anything from a stage conversation with an investor to a democracy evening, or something else entirely.

You will work closely with the KTH Innovation team, but will have individual responsibility for everything from concept and marketing to implementation and follow-up. You will also assist with KTH Innovation's other events and activities.

You will also contribute with:

Environmental scanning and ensuring KTH Innovation is visible in the right places, both on campus and in other contexts in Stockholm. Spreading KTH Innovation's offering and attracting new people into our world. Creating content for our social media.

It is important that you share our values regarding inclusion, openness, and diversity and want to create activities where everyone feels welcome.

The work is part-time with varying hours, often in the evenings. Your workplace is primarily Teknikringen 1.

Qualifications

Requirements

Admitted to an undergraduate, advanced, or doctoral level program at a Swedish higher education institution Great interest in innovation and startups Experience in planning and implementing events Responsible, attentive, and open-minded, with an enterprising, creative, and solution-oriented attitude Very good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written, as it is required in daily work

Personal qualities

We are looking for you with a particular ability to see what is needed, take your own initiative, and make things happen within given frameworks.

We are looking for a team with complementary experiences. If you feel that you can contribute something special, such as being on stage, managing social media, or something else entirely that you believe is valuable in this role, please write it in your cover letter.

Meritorious

Studying or pursuing a doctorate at KTH and having at least one year remaining Insight into startup world trends and influential actors Experience from similar environments Experience in creating content for social media Good insight into student life at KTH, preferably from involvement in student associations or similar Likes to collaborate and be part of a team Communicative and confident in meeting new people and being on stage Swedish-speaking, as it facilitates daily work

About the employment

The employment is for a fixed term according to agreement - for up to one year, with commencement by agreement.
