You will lead the planning, governance, and execution of complex multi-cloud migration programs for clients in the regulated financial services sector, while ensuring that technical teams, business leaders, and cloud service providers are aligned and moving in the same direction. This role involves working on real programs within client missions, benefiting from the support, expertise, and reach of a leading professional services firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure overall program planning, covering multiple simultaneous migration workflows, including establishing sequencing, milestones, and the critical path
• Ensure management of RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies), identifying risks and obstacles before they become problematic
• Ensure tracking of milestones and progress status of various workflows, and report the situation to portfolio governance bodies.
• Mobilize technical teams, business stakeholders, and cloud service providers around a common plan and shared expectations.
• Critically evaluate estimates and timelines, analyzing the underlying technical trade-offs.
• Facilitate communication between engineering teams and business stakeholders to enable informed decision-making
• Manage governance activities, including updates for the steering committee, progress reports, and escalation mechanisms.
• Quickly identify dependencies between different workflows and ensure necessary coordination between teams to resolve issues
• Report compliance, data residency, and cost issues arising from technical decisions that are likely to impact the mission's timeline or scope.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale technical programs involving multiple simultaneous workflows, ideally in the context of cloud migrations
• Excellent mastery of RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies), dependency mapping, and milestone tracking in complex environments.
• Experience in reporting and progress tracking within formal portfolio or program governance structures.
• Practical knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly workload distribution strategies and cost and data transfer trade-offs between platforms.
• Knowledge of data residency and compliance requirements in regulated sectors, ideally in the financial services sector.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple stakeholder groups, including vendors, engineering teams, and business leaders.
• Experience in regulated environments or those governed by strict governance processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate responsibilities to technical teams without intervening directly in development, while demonstrating composure and agility when priorities shift.
• Perfect mastery of English in a professional context, both oral and written

Minimum Degree Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is required
