How to have an impact
- Define and deploy the Group's environment and energy policies within the Kuehne+Nagel France and Maghreb cluster (+150 Sites, +10,000 Employees).
- Guarantee regulatory compliance for all our sites, particularly on topics related to ICPE regulations and other applicable legal obligations (Code de l'environnement, code de l'énergie).
- Design and implement the methods, tools, and processes necessary for steering environmental performance and risk management.
- Develop and monitor environmental performance indicators, ensure national and international reporting, and guarantee the monitoring of environmental incidents and accidents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal and/or sectoral frameworks and certifications.
- Structure an approach and promote a culture based on the identification and control of risks (Fire...).
- Support QSHE managers from different Business Units in the deployment of initiatives on these topics and the sharing of best practices.
- Define and coordinate audit, training, and awareness programs to strengthen the environmental culture within the organization.
- Manage and develop the France Environment team by fostering engagement, skill development, and cross-functional collaboration.
What we are looking for in you
- Higher education (Master's degree/Bac+5) in Environment, Environmental Law, risk management, or an equivalent field.
- Proven experience of at least 10 years in QSHE functions in Environment or risk management, ideally in a logistics, industrial, or multi-site environment.
- Solid mastery of French environmental regulations as well as issues related to industrial risks, including fire.
- Good knowledge of fire frameworks and reference ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 50001).
- Successful experience in cross-functional project management and team management.
- Leadership, ability to influence, and aptitude to work in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional English is essential to evolve in an international environment.
