*Purchaser Responsibilities:*
- Assist departments in obtaining pricing/cost/shipping/warranty and other pertinent information related to products and services
- Prepare and process requisitions
- Ensure timely and accurate supplier delivery
- Develop and maintain monthly reports
- Arrange transportation services
- Preparation of customs documentation
- Participate in audits
- Work in MRO/stockrooms as needed
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support activities on all shifts
*Purchaser Job Requirements:*
- College Diploma / SCMP or equivalent experience
- 5 years, in an office environment, with Purchasing experience
- Must be able to use standard presentation techniques via Power Point
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally, listen and in writing
- Must be able to maintain professional decorum at all times
- Must be able to encourage a ?team? environment
- Must be able to provide business reports, analysis and or data that are appropriate for the circumstance
