OPERATIONAL BUYER (M/F/D) (REF. NO. 102408)
Your profile:
- Completed technical or commercial vocational training, e.g., as an industrial or office clerk (m/f/d), alternatively technical training with commercial further education
- Professional experience in operational purchasing or material planning, ideally in mechanical engineering
- Knowledge of SAP MM / Material Management, preferably SAP R/3
- Proficient use of MS Office; knowledge of purchasing portals or BI tools is an advantage
- Basic technical understanding and the ability to read drawings and bills of materials
- Good English skills in speaking and writing
- Independent, structured, and reliable way of working as well as communication and teamwork skills
Your tasks:
- Create and process orders in SAP based on requirements messages, bills of materials, drawings, and framework agreements
- Clarify missing order specifications internally; forward complex issues to strategic purchasing
- Check and maintain order confirmations and coordinate deviations with suppliers
- Plan material groups and maintain SAP planning parameters based on production plans, availability, and stock
- Monitor delivery dates and backlogs, send delivery reminders, and escalate procurement problems
- Create delivery schedules and rolling forecasts; coordinate delivery date optimizations with suppliers
- Process complaints, monitor follow-up and replacement deliveries, and evaluate delivery performance
- Maintain material, planning, and supplier master data and forward technical changes to suppliers
