Transaction Operations - Senior Manager

About the company

Our client, a leading global asset management firm, is looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Transaction Operations to lead trade operations and regulatory reporting oversight across multiple asset classes.

Your tasks

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity involving end-to-end trade lifecycle management, outsourced service provider oversight and operational risk management.

• Oversee end-to-end trade lifecycle management, including trade processing, reconciliations and regulatory reporting.
• Manage operational activities across Equities, Fixed Income, Collective Investment Schemes, FX and Money Markets.
• Act as the primary escalation point for trade operations and reporting issues.
• Coordinate with custodians, brokers, internal stakeholders and outsourced service providers.
• Oversee trade regulatory reporting validations and operational controls.
• Support new instruments, market transitions and product development initiatives.
• Drive process improvements, automation and operational efficiency.
• Manage operational incidents, risks and control enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in middle-office or transaction operations within asset management.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle management, reconciliations and regulatory reporting.
• Experience overseeing outsourced service providers.
• Familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
