Purchasing Technician

Kronospan is a leading manufacturer of wood-based panels and value-added products. With a history dating back to 1897, we have more than 40 production centers and more than 15,000 employees worldwide.

We are inaugurating our third production plant in Spain, located in Tortosa. With an initial investment of 270 million euros and more than 180 direct jobs. The group will invest around 500 million euros in Tortosa in the coming years and will reach a workforce of at least 300 employees. This new plant, built from scratch, will help us expand our operations in Europe and explore new and emerging markets. We are looking to incorporate electrical technicians for its production plant in Burgos.

What will your functions be? Process orders for spare parts, services, and production work.

Request quotes and perform price comparisons.

Register and check delivery notes, verifying quantities and prices against quotes.

Manage invoice documentation and claim pending ones from suppliers.

Follow up on orders and manage claims and replacements.

Provide the Controlling department with information for the monthly closing: spare parts entries and provisions for invoices pending receipt.

Coordinate with different departments to meet their purchasing needs.

University degree in Business Administration and Management, Business, or Vocational Training in Finance.

At least one year of experience in a Purchasing department, preferably in the industrial sector.

B2 level of English.

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Capacity for organization, planning, and negotiation.

Good communication, orientation towards teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
