For our location in Strullendorf, we are looking for an immediate
Team Leader Shipping (m/f/d)
What is your role?
After an intensive induction phase in which you will get to know all the work areas of our modern logistics, you will take over the planning and control of the daily operational business in your area. In doing so, you will not only keep an eye on KPIs and budget specifications, but you will also be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of your team and will constantly develop your employees further as a coach.
You are responsible for:
- Responsibility for the operational processes in outbound logistics
- Leading, motivating, supporting, and developing the employees in the team
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations and maintaining order and cleanliness in your area of responsibility
- Controlling daily operational business through active planning, recognizing disruptions in the workflow, and independent corrective action
- Realizing relevant KPIs and logistics metrics as well as budget and quality specifications
- Close cooperation with all logistics managers as well as interface departments
- Implementation of Lean methodologies
What distinguishes you:
- Completed Bachelor's degree with a focus on logistics or completed vocational training in the field of logistics or comparable training
- Experience in leading and motivating employees as well as handling logistics metrics
- Technical and business understanding as well as affinity for numbers, good English skills
- Good MS-Office skills and especially very good Excel skills
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, empathy, and team spirit
- Initial experience with Lean methodology is an advantage
- Willingness to work permanent late shifts (approx. 12:00-20:00)
