Introducing our team (project).
The East Esports Team is an organization that leads PUBG esports business in major Asian regions, including Korea, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Indonesia, and Taiwan. While regional leads are responsible for local league and tournament operations, the East Esports Team manages and supports regional performance by covering everything from regional strategy establishment to partnerships and ecosystem building.

The position being recruited this time is a role that plans and operates the overall East Esports, performing duties across two main pillars. One is the APAC part, which involves building the esports ecosystem in emerging markets that must be grown strategically, such as Indonesia and India, from the ground up. The other is the task of managing operations in other Asian regions where the operational foundation is already established. This is a position where you can experience both market pioneering and existing market operations.
- Building the esports ecosystem in APAC emerging markets (Indonesia, India)
Plan league/tournament formats from scratch in collaboration with local publishers and partners.
Discover and nurture local pro teams and expand fandom based on communities and influencers.
- Asian esports operations management
Manage regular league operations and collaboration with local partners and broadcasters.
Manage tournament schedules, budgets, and performance indicators, and report to HQ.
Support the establishment and execution of regional strategies.
- Establishing regional priorities and execution plans according to market maturity
Provide linked support so that East region performance leads to global tournaments such as PGS and PGC.
- Partnership and ecosystem management
Build relationships and coordinate collaboration with local partners, publishers, and pro teams.
We want to grow with someone who has the following experience! (Required Qualifications)
Possess English proficiency at a business level or higher (capable of business communication such as meetings, partner negotiations, emails, etc.).
Have a basic understanding of the esports or gaming industry (tournament/league operation structures, ecosystem stakeholders).
Possess project management capabilities to simultaneously coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects.
Possess data organization and report writing skills.
Be able to set priorities and execute to the end even in situations involving multiple countries, time zones, and stakeholders.
If you have these experiences, you are the person we are looking for! (Preferred Qualifications)
Speak one or more of Indonesian, Hindi, Vietnamese, or Thai (capable of practical communication such as emails to partners).
Have experience in the gaming or esports industry.
Have practical experience in collaboration and contracting with overseas partners and agencies.
Are proficient in using generative AI tools for work (actively using them to improve practical productivity, such as report writing, translation, and data organization).
Have an understanding of and interest in PUBG (e.g., long-term playing experience).
