Global Publishing Division 1 is responsible for the publishing of Subnautica 2, Last Epoch, and Palworld Mobile, leading publishing strategy establishment, business development, and execution to ensure that games of various genres and platforms are successfully launched in the global market and achieve long-term growth.

The Franchise PM plays a role in discovering the long-term growth potential of assigned games and IPs and converting them into concrete business activities and projects. Based on an understanding of the market and players, you will establish publishing strategies and growth roadmaps, review the feasibility of new businesses and partnerships, and manage major projects End-to-End by collaborating with development studios, external partners, and KRAFTON internal organizations. Depending on the characteristics and business stage of the assigned project, you may perform various tasks such as game launch and live service, new market entry, external development and publishing partnerships, and IP expansion projects.

Analyze the market environment, players, competitive landscape, and business status of assigned games and IPs to establish mid-to-long-term publishing strategies and growth roadmaps.

Discover new business opportunities such as new games, new markets, platform expansion, external development, and partnerships, and develop them into concrete initiatives.

Analyze the market size, strategic fit, expected revenue and costs, investment scale, feasibility, and key risks of new initiatives to write Business Cases and propose priorities.

Discover potential developers, publishers, and business partners, and support or lead proposal and pitch evaluation, capability verification, Due Diligence, partner selection, and contract negotiations.

Design the roles and responsibilities of partnerships, scope of rights, business structure, decision-making systems, and key terms, and manage execution to ensure that agreed-upon businesses lead to actual results.

Manage key schedules, milestones, dependencies, budgets, quality standards, and risks during the development, launch, and live service processes of the assigned project.

Act as a key PoC for development studios and external partners to manage work progress and issues, and lead necessary decision-making and follow-up execution.

Collaborate with internal related organizations such as business, marketing, community, operations, platform, data, finance, and legal to coordinate project goals and execution directions.

Structure key business status and decision-making matters to prepare report materials for executives and stakeholders, and continuously manage action items and project performance.

Have 5 or more years of experience in game publishing, business development (BD), business strategy, product, or project management within the game industry.

Have experience systematically managing schedules, risks, decision-making, and action items in projects involving multiple stakeholders.

Be able to structure uncertain and complex problems, set priorities, and convert them into concrete strategies and execution tasks.

Possess business-level English communication skills to collaborate with global development studios and overseas partners.

Be able to prepare concise and persuasive documents and report materials for executives and key decision-makers.

Have experience discovering new game, new business, or partnership opportunities and connecting them from feasibility review to planning and execution.

Have experience discovering/evaluating developers or external business partners and participating in the process of negotiating business terms and establishing partnerships.

Be able to write logical Business Cases by analyzing market size, competitive environment, business models, revenue/cost structures, and key risks.

Possess an understanding of the game development, launch, and live service processes, as well as major publishing functions such as business, marketing, and operations.

Be able to consider both short-term business performance and long-term game and IP value based on a high interest in games and players.

Have no disqualifying factors for overseas business trips.

Experience managing mobile game project development, launch, or service as a PM.

Experience collaborating with local publishers or development partners in overseas markets, including China.

Business-level Chinese communication skills.

Experience establishing and executing mid-to-long-term growth strategies, Franchise strategies, or portfolios for game IPs.

Experience in new title incubation, external development, co-development, or publishing projects.

Experience in discovering developers and business partners, RFP/pitch evaluation, Due Diligence, contract negotiation, or partner management.

Experience in P&L, investment review, feasibility assessment, revenue forecasting, or project KPI design.

Experience in IP licensing, game collaborations, brand partnerships, or other IP expansion businesses.

Experience in publishing games on multiple platforms such as PC, console, and mobile.

Experience collaborating in multicultural, multi-regional, and cross-functional organizations.
