CNTD Dept is an organization that discovers AI business and technology investment opportunities to strengthen KRAFTON's AI competitiveness and secure new growth opportunities.
Beyond simple financial investment, we proactively explore promising technologies and business opportunities based on KRAFTON's mid-to-long-term strategic direction. After investment, we also look for business touchpoints and opportunities for collaboration. To this end, we research AI technology, products, and industry structures, discover/analyze potential investment targets, and, if necessary, review investment execution and follow-up connection plans.
In this position, you will encounter various technologies and business models at the forefront of the rapidly changing AI industry, gaining comprehensive experience from market analysis to investment review, execution, and connection.

Your tasks

Exploring new AI-related markets, technologies, business models, and investment themes
Researching the global AI market, industry structure, major players, and the startup ecosystem
Discovering promising startups and growth companies, making initial contact, and building relationships
Identifying investment opportunities by building networks with investors, founders, and industry experts
Initial screening of potential investment targets and reviewing business, technology, and strategic fit
Deriving investment hypotheses and investment ideas based on market and company analysis
Preparing review materials for major investment opportunities and supporting the investment execution process
Identifying collaboration and new business opportunities between portfolio companies and KRAFTON after investment

Requirements

We want to grow with someone who has the following experience! (Required Qualifications)

3~6 years of relevant experience
Experience in fields such as Corporate Development, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, M&A, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Consulting, etc.
Ability to actively build and develop external networks with startups, founders, investors, etc.
Ability to derive key insights based on industry, market, and company research and analysis
Experience leading investment, strategy, or business development projects
Ability to collaborate smoothly with various internal and external stakeholders and communicate logically through documentation and reporting
Business Fluent level English communication skills
No disqualifying factors for overseas business trips

If you have these experiences, you are the one we are looking for! (Preferred Qualifications)

High understanding of industries such as AI, data, software, digital content, platforms, etc.
Experience performing investment reviews, establishing investment logic, and conducting business feasibility analysis based on understanding of AI technology or business
Experience in post-investment management, such as portfolio management, business collaboration, and synergy review
Quantitative analysis skills such as financial modeling, company valuation, and business planning, or possession of degrees/certifications such as MBA, CFA, CPA, etc.
