We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically minded  Technical Designer  to join our growing team in Retail. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about interior design and technical detailing, and who enjoy seeing concepts evolve from design development through construction and completion. A Day in the Life Prepare technical and construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings for project execution.

Support the translation of design concepts into practical, buildable, and cost-efficient solutions.

Assist in coordinating shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical submissions from contractors and vendors.

Ensure drawings and documentation are accurate, up to date, and aligned with project requirements.

Work closely with designers, project managers, consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and design discrepancies.

Support site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure design intent and quality standards are maintained.

Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and as-built documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Assist in identifying technical challenges and contribute practical solutions during design development and construction stages.

Perform drawing reviews and quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Keep abreast of industry trends, materials, construction methods, and technical standards.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Spatial Design, or a related discipline.

4-5 years of relevant experience  in interior design, technical design, architectural drafting, or construction documentation.

Experience in retail, commercial, hospitality, workplace, or experiential projects is advantageous.

Proficiency in  AutoCAD  is essential.

Familiarity with  SketchUp, Revit, BIM , or other 3D modelling tools will be advantageous.

Basic understanding of construction detailing, materials, and building systems.

Familiarity with local regulations and authority requirements is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy.

Good problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Passion for design, construction, and creating meaningful user experiences.
