As a Cyber Security Specialist at KPN in Hilversum, you are responsible for analyzing and handling security incidents that could impact vital services. You identify threats, coordinate actions, and contribute to the development of tooling and processes within the KPN-CERT BLUEteam.

What will you do?

• Managing security incidents and vulnerabilities in multi-cloud, mobile core, and on-premise environments
• Performing threat hunting, digital forensic investigations, and in-depth threat analysis
• Further developing BLUEteam tooling such as SOAR, SIEM, EDR, and automation
• Collaborating with internal specialists, CERT partners, ISPs, and law enforcement agencies
• Improving technology and security processes and knowledge sharing within the team
• Participating in on-call shifts for immediate response to security incidents

What is required?

• At least 3 years of experience in incident response within complex IT environments
• Knowledge of telecommunications legislation, telecom security, and forensic IT skills, such as malware and data analysis
• Programming experience in C/C++, Perl, Python, Ruby, or Shell
• Experience with coordinating investigations and advising management
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Willingness to participate in on-call shifts
• Plus: certifications such as GCFA, GNFA, GREM, GCTI
• Plus: knowledge of mobile core security and telecom signaling such as SS7 and Diameter

What is offered?

• Gross monthly salary between €5190,- and €7803,- based on 40 hours, excluding 8% holiday allowance
• Fixed 13th month, partially paid monthly
