Your tasks
The Role – English Teacher You will deliver engaging, challenging and creative English lessons, inspiring students to develop confidence in reading, writing and communication.
Your responsibilities will include
- Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 opportunities.
- Delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students.
- Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations and supporting academic progress.
- Developing literacy, analytical thinking and creative writing skills.
- Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
Requirements
Whether you're an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for the perfect environment to launch your career or an experienced English Teacher seeking a fresh challenge, this could be an exceptional opportunity!
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an ECT working towards completing induction.
- A relevant degree in English Literature, English Language or a related discipline.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

- An enthusiastic team player with ambition to develop professionally.
