Your tasks
The Role – Business & Economics Teacher You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons, helping students develop commercial awareness, analytical thinking and an understanding of the global economy.
Key responsibilities include
- Teaching Business Studies and Economics across KS4 and KS5.
- Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire curiosity.
- Preparing students for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
- Contributing to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and progress.
Requirements
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or ambitious ECT looking to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS as an ECT.
- A relevant degree in Business, Economics or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to raising attainment and inspiring young people.
