DATA ANALYST – COSMETICS INDUSTRY

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Collect, consolidate, clean, and validate data from various sources.
• Analyze sales, sell-out, stock, product, customer, and operational data.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to sales and business performance.
• Create and maintain Excel dashboards, reports, and data analysis tools.
• Monitor sales performance by product, store/counter, area, channel, and period.
• Identify sales trends, gaps, opportunities, and potential business issues through data analysis.
• Analyze target vs. actual sales achievement and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor product performance, including best-selling and slow-moving products.
• Support stock analysis, including stock availability, stock movement, and potential overstock/out-of-stock situations.
• Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for management.
• Develop automated Excel reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, E-commerce, Warehouse, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and data support based on management requirements.
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, confidentiality, and proper documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Sales Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or related position.
• Expert in Microsoft Excel is a MUST.
• Strong knowledge of Excel functions such as Pivot Table, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, IF, INDEX-MATCH, and data visualization.
• Able to create dynamic reports, dashboards, and automated Excel templates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work with large amounts of data and identify meaningful insights.
• Experience in sales, retail, FMCG, beauty, cosmetics, or e-commerce industry is highly preferred.
• Educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields is preferred.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Available to join as soon as possible / ASAP is highly preferred.
