Platform Operations Engineer
Your tasks
Guidance: In 2–3 sentences, describe the role's purpose, where it sits within the team, and why it matters to the
agency's objectives. Avoid copy-pasting from an unrelated JD — mismatched context is a common source of
candidate and contractor confusion.
Example: The [Role Title] plays a key supporting role within the [Department/Team Name]. The incumbent will be
responsible for end-to-end ICT procurement operations, ensuring compliance with government procurement
guidelines, contract execution, and vendor management to support agency-wide digital initiatives.
The Platform & Operations Engineer is responsible for building, securing, automating and operating ATLAS,
NP's Enterprise Data & AI Platform. The role ensures the platform is secure, reliable, scalable, cost-efficient
and compliant, while providing hands-on implementation and operational support across cloud, data and AI
services.
Key Responsibilities⚠ REQUIRED Guidance: List 4–6 primary duties using strong action verbs (Manage, Lead, Review, Coordinate). Where possible,
state a frequency or measurable outcome (e.g., “weekly”, “within 5 business days”) — unstated frequency/volume is
one of the most common clarification points raised by contractors.
Example
- Procurement Execution: Lead or support the drafting, evaluation, and processing of ICT tenders, quotations,
and contract documents in alignment with statutory standards.
- Contract & Supplier Management: Monitor vendor performance, track deliverables, manage contract
renewals, and resolve operational escalations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal project teams and external suppliers to clarify technical
specifications and procurement requirements.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all procurement records, rate cards, and documentation are accurately
maintained for audit readiness.
