Konnekt is looking for an Accountant for a leading kmo with a strong presence in the Houthulst region. Our client has been active for more than 45 years and grew from a small family business into an established name with approximately 100 employees. Job Description

• You monitor the financial follow-up of the organization and ensure that the accounting from A to Y is processed correctly and on time.
• Correct processing and follow-up of customer and supplier accounts, financial transactions, invoices, and various bookings.
• You contribute to the monthly and annual closings and handle the necessary VAT returns and other legal obligations.
• You support the financial reports and management reports.
• After an onboarding period and training, you will eventually also monitor results, costs, margins, and deviations and perform targeted analytical controls and analyses.
• You will be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to eventually take this over independently, thereby ensuring a correct allocation of costs and revenues.
• Further optimizing financial processes and reporting and actively thinking along about more efficient ways of working and improvements.
• You have a graduaat or bachelor accountancy fiscaliteit or master handelswetenschappen/TEW.
• You possess a little experience, at least 1 year within an KMO (strong plus).
• You work accurately, discreetly, and organized.
• You are someone who is eager to learn and likes to take initiative.
• You master the French and English language professionally.
