Technology that goes beyond engineering.

For an international player active within robotics, automation and intralogistics, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer who helps shape technical solutions and follows them up until they are operational.

You will work on electrical infrastructure, control cabinets and technical installations, from design and calculations to testing and commissioning. In doing so, you will work closely with various engineering disciplines and also be involved in the realization of international projects.

A technical environment with complex automation, international collaboration and space to further expand your expertise.

Job Description

  • You technically develop automation projects from the kick-off and translate the concept into functional descriptions, electrical schematics, layouts and bills of materials.
  • You coordinate the technical execution of the project and coordinate this with purchasing, suppliers, drafters and other internal and external partners. In doing so, you also monitor technical feasibility, planning and the budget.
  • On-site, you follow up on the realization and commissioning, check the electrical connections and I/Os and work closely with electricians and commissioning engineers during testing.
  • You serve as a technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, provide training at the customer site and also offer support with technical questions and potential aftercare after delivery.
  • You possess a bachelor's or master's degree with an electrical specialization and already have initial experience within Electrical Infrastructure Engineering, for example with the design and calculation of electrical cabinets and the follow-up of commissioning.
  • You have experience with CAD software such as EPLAN and possess knowledge of cable calculations. Knowledge of Caneco is an advantage.
  • You are proactive, communicative and entrepreneurial and like to take initiative. You enjoy working in a team, but can also take responsibility independently and are open to further expanding your technical knowledge.
