EMC And Electronics Engineer
About the company
Our Electronics Engineering team is looking for a new colleague to play a pivotal role in the success of our commercial space projects. You will contribute directly to the design and development of advanced subsystems that will power small satellite platforms, making a tangible impact in the rapidly evolving New Space industry.
Your tasks
- Support the Electronics Engineering team in developing EMC-robust electronic designs
- Debug, troubleshoot, and validate EMC performance at board, subsystem, and satellite level
- Collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and project teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including design, verification, and qualification documentation
- Plan and support subsystem and satellite-level EMC test campaigns
- Act as the company’s primary technical reference for EMC/EMI topics
Requirements
We expect you to
- Have experience working in a requirements-driven development environment
- Have experience identifying and solving product or system-level EMC problems
- Understand EMC-aware design techniques and methods for preventing EMC problems
- Have hands-on experience with EMC measurement and test equipment
- Have good English communication skills
Niceo to have
- Familiarity with ECSS, MIL, NASA, or equivalent EMC standards and handbooks
- Experience with RF, EMC, signal integrity (SI), or power integrity (PI) modelling and simulation
- Understanding of system-level EMC architecture and implementation
- Experience developing electronics for space, automotive, defence, or other high-reliability applications
