Field Service Technician

We are looking for an Electrical Specialist to join our team in Lisbon. This key position involves critical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for port equipment, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our operations. Your main responsibilities will include: Performing preventive maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on port cranes. Diagnosing and resolving faults with precision and effectiveness. Coordinating field tasks, leading and organizing the different project stakeholders. Acting as a link between customers and the technical department to ensure smooth operations. Organizing and directing the technical team to maximize productivity and safety. Identifying and communicating sales opportunities during technical interventions. Rigorously completing technical and service documentation. Executing repairs and upgrades on drive systems with precision and attention to detail.

Essential qualifications: Technical training in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar (other training will be considered if relevant experience is demonstrated). Proven experience with port cranes. Solid experience in electrical troubleshooting, cabling, and commissioning. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems autonomously. Availability to work in shifts, weekends, and perform overtime. Good physical condition to work at heights and climb ladders. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation. Valid work permit. Valid driver's license. Commitment to safety protocols. Intermediate-high level of English (other languages will be positively valued). Availability to travel as required by the role. Desirable qualifications: Experience in maintenance of T-type cranes. Note: The role requires a high level of technical skill and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic port environment. Overtime will be duly compensated. Availability to work in demanding physical conditions and in different weather conditions is required.
