Field Application Engineer

We are looking for a Field Application Engineer to work in the field performing preventive and corrective interventions on load handling equipment, mainly on equipment with a high level of complexity. Support and guidance for the advanced technicians team in solving technical problems.
Develop automation solutions together with the customer involving the need for programming and hardware and software changes. Perform preventive and corrective interventions on load handling equipment. Prepare technical reports and occurrence studies (root cause). Perform safety and operation analysis on equipment when incidents and/or improper shutdowns are involved. Act together with customers on matters relating to technical support and eventual clarifications regarding the equipment and its configurations. Perform all the necessary study and parameterization in process equipment and special functions. Perform warranty validations and necessary analyses. Perform national and international travel when requested. Comply with policies, procedures and/or standards relating to the company, work processes, quality management system, environment, health, safety and labor legislation, as well as ensure the organization, storage, security and confidentiality of the documentation under your responsibility and keep the workplace clean and organized. Perform other related activities at the discretion of your immediate superior.
Higher education in Electrical Engineering/Automation or Automation Technology; Advanced English; Minimum of 03 years of experience in the area of programming and technical support; Knowledge of organizational culture and values. Knowledge of the operation and maintenance process of load handling equipment. Knowledge of the Office package, with an advanced level in Excel. Knowledge of integrated systems. Advanced knowledge in programming and development in PLC (Siemens, Rockwell, Wago). Advanced knowledge in frequency inverters (ABB, Vacon, Siemens). Advanced knowledge in electrical projects and circuits. Advanced knowledge in Automation. Possess NR's 01, 06, 10, 11 and 35. Possess a valid driver's license and passport, with availability for national and international travel.
