Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

• Manage and oversee cost-related activities for construction projects.
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Conduct quantity take-offs based on construction drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project costs, expenses, and budget variations.
• Evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare progress payment claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers on project costing matters.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Relevant working experience in the construction industry at least 4 years
• Knowledge of construction cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and quantity measurement.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiar with tender preparation, contract administration, and variation claims.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to work as part of a team.
