To support our 20-person purchasing team, we are looking for a Purchaser (m/f/d) in Pharmaceutical Trade at our Merzig location, full-time (40 hours per week), starting at the earliest possible date.

Your Tasks

• Determination of relevant purchasing requirements in cooperation with product management and market monitoring, and their independent procurement in a market characterized by scarcity within Europe
• Developing new, suitable resources (country, supplier, and product) while complying with internal company specifications
• Performance analysis and supplier support - digitally and personally through visits and events in other European countries
• Conducting supplier audits to ensure quality
• Monitoring and ensuring stock levels within your area of responsibility

Your Profile

• You have completed commercial training and/or a degree in business administration and already bring several years of experience in the professional field
• You use your business-fluent English skills (at least C1) in speaking and writing in a goal-oriented manner; knowledge of another European language is an advantage
• Experience with a complex ERP system as well as good MS Office skills are indispensable
• Your strong communication skills make you a confident negotiation partner
• You are enthusiastic about a challenging everyday working life
• Flexibility and willingness to travel are a matter of course for you
