ENGINEER

Job Summary

Lead and manage mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment maintenance and troubleshooting teams to ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and high service standards in facilities management projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of technical executives and technicians to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment issues effectively
• Manage procurement processes for major supply and repair items to ensure timely availability and cost efficiency
• Plan, execute, and supervise preventive and condition monitoring maintenance activities on major electrical equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform hands-on preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks to restore and maintain equipment functionality
• Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to align maintenance and project activities with site requirements and timelines
• Diagnose and rectify faults within specified timeframes to maintain system reliability and safety
• Oversee troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems to ensure continuous operation
• Plan and supervise all facilities management and operational activities to meet project objectives and service standards
• Control project costs while maintaining quality and service excellence
• Execute any other ad hoc duties as assigned to support operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
• Technical knowledge of M&E systems including fire protection, AV, and ACMV systems is an advantage
• Ability to perform shift work as required
• Skills in preventive maintenance troubleshooting
