Accounting Supervisor - Buy & Sell (More than 5 years of experience)
- Position Purpose
Oversee and manage accounting and financial operations in accordance with accounting standards, while developing accounting systems to support business management. This covers closing accounts, cost control, Stock, and preparing P&L statements for management decision-making.
- Key Responsibilities
2.1 Accounting & Closing
Oversee daily, monthly, and annual accounting entries.
Plan and control Month-end Closing to ensure timeliness.
Verify the accuracy of accounting documents such as:
Purchase Requisition (PR)
Purchase Order (PO)
Receiving Report / Invoice / Tax Invoice
Coordinate with Auditor and external consultants (if any).
2.2 Inventory & Cost Control
Oversee the Stock / Inventory accounting system.
Verify stock movements to align with the operations department.
Control and analyze costs:
Raw material costs
Production costs (Packaging)
Logistics and operational costs
Support accurate calculation of COGS and Gross Margin.
2.3 Financial Statement & P&L
Prepare and analyze financial statements:
Profit and Loss (P&L)
Balance Sheet
Cash Flow Statement
Design P&L structures for management (Management P&L).
Separate revenue and expenses by:
Company (KOCH / TNB)
Business Unit / Project / Customer (if any)
Summarize financial data to support management decision-making.
2.4 Accounting System & Process
Develop and improve the Accounting System / Workflow.
Link accounting work with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations departments.
Establish standards for accounting and financial documentation.
Support the use of ERP / Accounting Software / Excel / Power BI (if any).
2.5 Tax & Compliance
Oversee relevant tax filings such as:
P.N.D. 1, 3, 53
P.P. 30, P.P. 36
Control accuracy regarding tax and relevant legal regulations.
Coordinate with accounting firms or tax consultants.
2.6 Team Management (For Manager level)
Plan and assign tasks to the accounting team.
Review the quality of the team's work.
Develop the potential and skills of the accounting team.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of accounting experience (Assistant Manager) or 5–8 years (Manager). Experience in Month-end Closing, Stock / Cost Control, and P&L. Experience in Manufacturing / Logistics / Trading will be specially considered. Understanding of PO / PR systems and cross-departmental workflows. Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation. Ability to analyze numbers and financial statements. Proficient in Excel (Pivot, Formula, Analysis). Ability to communicate and coordinate with other departments. Systematic mindset and readiness to develop accounting processes to support company growth. Must be able to prepare reports in English.
