The Position Koch-Chemie develops high-quality cleaning and care products for professional users worldwide. As part of our Research & Development team, you will develop and optimize, among other things, innovative formulations for Carwash, vehicle detailing, and leather care. You will accompany development projects from the initial idea to series production readiness and work closely with internal specialist departments, suppliers, and customers. With scientific precision and an innovative spirit, you will ensure that our products continue to stand for Excellence For Experts in the future. Development and optimization of innovative products for the brands KCx, THE FINISHER, and COLOURLOCK Management of development projects from the idea to series production readiness Development and optimization of recipes as well as selection of suitable raw materials Planning, execution, and evaluation of laboratory experiments and product tests Close cooperation with application technology, product management, sales, purchasing, production, and Regulatory Affairs Creation of recipes, production documents, and accompanying new products into production Participation in national and international association committees (e.g., IHO and BTG) as well as representing the company in technical working groups Testing and release of production batches as well as processing of chemical complaints Technical consulting on chemical issues as well as support during customer visits, trade fairs, and specialist events
Your Profile Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable field of study Several years of experience in the development of chemical products, ideally in vehicle care, washing chemicals, or cleaning and care products Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing Experience in formulation development and project management Structured, analytical way of working as well as strong communication skills Innovative spirit, initiative, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation Willingness to travel as well as ideally knowledge in the field of water chemistry or utility water technology
