YOUR TASKS

• Researching Machine Learning in extreme cases where conventional methods fail
• Critically questioning common basic assumptions and working out alternative solution approaches
• Experimental development and evaluation of novel training methods for neural networks
• Analytical work to prove stochastic facts
• Writing scientific papers

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed Master's degree in Informatik, Mathematik, Telematik, Data Science, or Softwareentwicklung.
• Excellent knowledge in Machine Learning and Stochastik
• Creative mindset that strives for alternative solution paths away from proven methodology
• Experience in the experimental investigation of Machine Learning methods
• Good programming skills in Python or R
• Competence in writing scientific texts
• Excellent English skills (C-Level)

The minimum basic salary according to the collective agreement for this position with three years of professional experience in a full-time position (38.5 hours/week) is at least EUR 3,267 gross per month (14x annually). Depending on qualifications and experience, we are happy to offer market-conform overpayment.
