What to expect
- You will take over the legally compliant processing of US export control and act as the contact person for US export control (ITAR/EAR)
- You will handle the application for the necessary permits from the US authority BIS
- You are responsible for identifying goods with ITAR/EAR relevance and will handle the maintenance and documentation of classification decisions in SAP-GTS
- You will support Purchasing and the Legal department in contract reviews regarding the implications of US export control law
- You will take over the support and continuous development of system-supported US export control in SAP or SAP-GTS
- You are responsible for checking the effectiveness of the system-supported US export control
- You will perform the co-review and signing of End-User Certificates required to obtain export licenses from foreign suppliers
What you bring
- You have commercial training as well as several years of professional experience in the field of US export control
- You possess in-depth specialist knowledge of American export control law (ITAR / EAR)
- Additionally, you bring good SAP-ERP and SAP-GTS knowledge
- Very good English skills (C2 level, written and oral) round off your profile
