What to Expect

You are responsible for the independent checking of requirements as well as initiating and managing tenders

The creation and requesting of orders according to specifications is your responsibility

You conduct national procurement market research

Another focus lies in supporting the establishment of strategic supplier relationships, including through the search, selection, and, if necessary, qualification of suitable suppliers according to specifications

You are responsible for the preparation, conduct, and follow-up of negotiations with suppliers - supported by your supervisor if necessary

The independent execution of continuous demand analyses is also part of your tasks

You undertake the development of strategic goals in coordination with your technical supervisor

You are responsible for conducting national and international procurement market analyses as well as the creation of offer matrices and the examination of technical aspects

You identify cost reduction potentials and derive corresponding measures from them

What You Bring

• You have a successfully completed degree (Business Administration, Engineering, Business Law, or similar) with several years of specialist professional experience, or a completed vocational training with specialist additional qualifications as well as several years of relevant experience in purchasing
• You possess a strong technical affinity and sound product knowledge
• You bring good knowledge of contract law and a legal mindset
• You are proficient in using SAP and Microsoft Office and have fluent English skills; another foreign language is an advantage
• You are characterized by a structured, independent, and proactive way of working and possess the necessary resilience and robustness
• You also bring a high willingness to travel as well as a confident and secure appearance
• A high degree of negotiation and communication strength as well as strong teamwork skills round off your profile
