What to Expect

• You plan, organize, and lead ILS projects for the armament systems portion, e.g., the turret of the Leopard 2 main battle tank
• You independently create offers and contract documents, as well as German- and English-language project reports and reports
• You conduct contract negotiations and meetings domestically and abroad and are responsible for the achievement of project goals and their implementation
• You take over reporting to the vehicle program management and division management
• You develop commercial and scheduling specifications and work packages for specialist departments
• You independently create offers in compliance with public pricing and contract law and other aspects; additionally, you take over the evaluation of quantity structures
• You independently analyze the German- or English-language requirements of the customer
• You take responsibility for project controlling, including target/actual comparisons as well as early anticipation of deviations or problems, and develop proposals if necessary
• You independently transfer customer requirements to subcontractors and suppliers in coordination with purchasing and take over the conceptualization of logistical service concepts

What You Bring

• You have a successfully completed degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable qualification
• You have already taken on functional leadership without a supervisory function
• Furthermore, you have in-depth experience in project management; a project management certification is expected on our part
• Military training or experience is an advantage; desirably, you already possess knowledge of ILS management
• Ideally, you have in-depth knowledge of pricing and contract law
• You demonstrate very good commercial and technical understanding as well as very good knowledge of MS-Office applications
• Good written and spoken English skills as well as a willingness to travel domestically and abroad round off your profile
