What to Expect

• You will assume technical and disciplinary leadership of the group as well as the representation of procurement interests in internal group projects or cross-group projects and towards external partners
• You will work in projects and share responsibility for the operational implementation of company and department-internal targets within the assigned group, as well as for internal procurement project coordination, information, and prioritization
• You are responsible for the leadership, motivation, and further development of the employees in the assigned group, as well as for conducting selection, employee, and performance reviews in coordination with the department management
• Your tasks include the independent development, implementation, and evaluation of proposals for the continuous improvement of the processes under your responsibility and the department, in cooperation with the relevant interfaces
• You will participate in project meetings and represent the interests of procurement there
• Monitoring and ensuring procurement activities during the project phase is part of your activities, as is supporting the Lead/Local-Buyer in the selection of subcontractors
• Participation in and leadership of internal and external projects, the creation of reports, analyses, and decision templates, as well as supporting the department management in budget planning and other disciplinary tasks, round off your profile

What You Bring

• You have a completed degree, particularly Dipl.-Ing., Dipl.-Wirt.Ing., Dipl.-Kfm., Dipl.-Wirt.Jurist, Bachelor, or Master, as well as comparable qualifications
• You possess pronounced experience in personnel leadership as well as several years of professional experience in strategic procurement and extensive experience in project management
• You have pronounced knowledge of KNDS products
• Your willingness to take responsibility and make decisions distinguishes you, alongside your analytical thinking, your structured way of working, and your strong coordination and organizational skills
• Furthermore, you possess assertiveness and the ability to delegate, as well as very good communication, motivation, and teamwork skills, resilience, and robustness
• You have business-fluent language skills in English; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SAP R/3 round off your profile
