What to Expect

Your main tasks include leading the department and representing purchasing interests in internal projects and towards external partners

-

A significant focus of your activity is participating in the implementation and further development of commodity group management in a national and international environment based on the analysis of procurement processes

-

Furthermore, you will support the optimization of the supplier structure, particularly through the qualification and development of new suppliers

-

You will take responsibility for employee leadership and information, as well as for the selection, assessment, and development of employees

-

In addition, you will contribute to the further development of the department regarding structural and process organization

-

The review, implementation, and further development of commodity group strategies is also part of your area of responsibility

-

Furthermore, you will coordinate and be responsible for the internal purchasing commodity groups

-

The monitoring of procurement activities as well as making make-or-buy decisions are also part of your tasks.

Depending on requirements, you will participate in contract and price negotiations or conduct them independently

-

The continuous optimization of purchasing processes is another component of your area of responsibility

You will report directly to the main department management EK2

-

In addition, you will ensure the implementation of risk assessments and compliance with company guidelines

What You Bring

-

You have a completed degree, particularly as Dipl.-Ing., Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing., Dipl.-Kfm., Dipl.-Wirt.-Jurist, Bachelor, or Master, or a comparable qualification

-

Furthermore, you bring sound knowledge and experience in commodity group management as well as in purchasing and the relevant procurement markets

-

You have at least five years of relevant professional experience

Very good communication skills as well as a structured and independent way of working characterize you

-

Business fluent English skills are required; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage

-

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications as well as SAP round off your profile
