Project Management Connectivity / Internet of Things (m/f/d) (Engineer - Electrical Engineering)

Your Tasks

• Development and implementation of a company-wide Internet of Things (IoT) strategy that can be optimally integrated into our existing product portfolio and complies with QMH specifications
• Conception of the necessary modular electrical and electronic building blocks for the various vehicle segments
• Conception of the infrastructure for the networking and digitalization of the vehicles and the connected services
• Coordination of all IoT-related development and project activities
• Management of the complete product lifecycle for the IoT solutions
• Conception of a future-proof and open Smart-"Mobile"-"Home"-system
• Elaboration of a quality and security policy
• Planning, monitoring, and tracking of test and quality KPIs as a basis for release management
• Establishment of a software version management for our equipment variants
• Continuous analysis of market trends

Your Profile

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a similar qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of software development and network technology
• Experience in the development and testing of embedded systems (hardware and software)
• Competencies in the field of system architecture with correspondingly strong analytical skills
• Knowledge in the field of software development (e.g., Java/Kotlin, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.)
• Familiarity with IoT basic systems such as openHAB, FHEM, IoBroker, etc.
• Knowledge in the field of communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth >=4.0, ZigBee, etc.) and technologies (e.g., CI- or LIN-Bus, RS232, etc.)
• Knowledge of application layer protocols (e.g., MQTT, AMQT, WebSockets, …)
• Experience in defining test plans and in testing with modern test tools
• Knowledge in the field of cloud technologies/platforms and home systems such as Alexa etc.
• Fluent English skills (at least B2 level) required
• Independence, assertiveness, reliability, flexibility, and team spirit
• Confident appearance with strong communication skills
