JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of its development, KCS, based in Illange, is recruiting a Production Manager, with potential for evolution in the medium term.

Reporting directly to the Site Director, you will join a recently created factory, commissioned in early 2025, in a context of structuring, ramp-up, and consolidation of industrial standards. This position represents a rare opportunity to actively contribute to the construction of a high-performance, sustainable, and demanding production organization.

The site operates in 3x8. You are responsible for the global management of production, with the direct management of 3 team leaders and the supervision of a workforce of approximately 30 employees distributed across the three shifts. As part of the site's development, this scope is intended to evolve with workforce growth in the medium term.

We are looking for an experienced profile, capable of combining field leadership, operational rigor, and the ability to structure a developing organization, while demonstrating curiosity, agility, and a genuine desire to learn a new process.

Your responsibilities

As Production Manager, you guarantee the smooth running of the activity while respecting safety, quality, cost, deadline, and performance objectives.

In this capacity, you will notably be required to:

• manage daily production activity in an environment organized in 3x8
• directly manage 3 team leaders and support team dynamics through them
• guarantee the safety of people and promote a strong prevention culture
• ensure production compliance as well as adherence to quality and process standards
• achieve production objectives in terms of volumes, productivity, yield, and deadlines
• structure, stabilize, and advance management methods in the context of a new site
• develop a true continuous improvement dynamic
• work in close coordination with the site's support functions: maintenance, quality, logistics, HR
• ensure regular, reliable, and relevant reporting to the Site Director

your profile

You have solid experience in industrial production management, in a similar position, acquired in a demanding environment. You are, above all, a field leader, recognized for your ability to unite, decide, structure, and support teams close to operational realities.

You bring a strong industrial culture, with a clear sensitivity to safety, quality, process, and continuous improvement challenges.

Experience in management within a shift-based organization is indispensable, as is the ability to drive performance through managerial relays.

English is imperative, as it is the daily working language.
