We are currently looking for 1 Software Commissioning Technician

- You model, parameterize, and configure our software according to individual customer requirements
- You ensure software quality by testing the software with our simulators
- The commissioning of the software in cooperation with all different technology specialists is an important part of your job profile
- Furthermore, you ensure quality through on-site integration tests and support our customers with functional tests and training before the startup phase
- The implementation of adjustments to our software according to customer needs is also an important task of yours
- After commissioning, you prepare the project and hand it over to downstream departments for further processing

- You have completed training in the field of IT
- You have basic knowledge of object-oriented programming (C++, C# and/or Java)
- You also have basic knowledge regarding relational databases (SQL or Oracle) and Linux
- You enjoy traveling internationally (on average approx. 50% per year)
- You speak English well
- You are open to new things, stress-resistant, and customer-oriented
- You are physically and mentally fit, can stand and walk for long periods, can lift 25kg to shoulder height, and have no problems with heights or climbing ladders

This position is remunerated with at least € 3,040.-- gross (Collective agreement for employees in the metal industry, VWGr III/i1u2J.). Overpayment is, of course, possible depending on your professional qualifications and experience. Additionally, depending on the extent of your travel activities, you will receive a monthly expense allowance of up to € 1,350.-- net, as well as allowances up to an amount of € 1,350.-- gross.
